Q: Why should I bring my new car to Cooper Automotive for servicing?

A: We will save you a lot of money on your new car servicing compared to the dealership, we always follow your service hand book to the letter and use genuine or direct fit quality parts when servicing your new car.

Q: Can you service my new car without voiding my new car warranty?

A: Yes. We service the following brands under factory warranty without affecting your statutory warranty;

Q: What happens if I have a warranty claim?

A: If we find a fault with your vehicle while it’s under factory warranty or it has a recall from the manufacturer, Cooper Automotive is happy to liaise with the dealer to make sure the warranty process goes smoothly. An appointment will need to made the local dealer to have the fault rectified.

Q: Do you have the necessary skills and equipment to service my new car?

A: All our technicians undergo regular training cources, as well as reading industry newsletters and service bulletins. Every Cooper Automotive workshop has the latest scan tools and diagnostic equipment at their finger tips allowing access to your vehicles onboard engine management computer system.

Q: Are your technicians qualified?

A: Yes. All our technicians are qualified and Cooper Automotive organises ongoing training to make sure our staff are regularly up skilled. We also train some apprentices, all apprentices either work with a qualified technician or are closely supervised. All work goes through a quality control process unique to Cooper Automotive and minimises the risk of faulty workmanship.

Q: Will I know how much my car service or repair will cost me before I get the bill?

A: A price estimate can be provided upon request prior to any work commencing on your vehicle and we won’t carry out any additional repairs without your authorisation.

Q: Do I have to pay on the day of the job and how can I pay?

A: Yes. Payment needs to be made at the completion of the job. We accept EFTPOS, Master cards, Visa Cards, Cash and in most cases Cheques.

Q: What is the warranty on your work?

A: All repairs are covered by 12 months / 20,000km warranty.

Q: What are your operating hours?

A: All Cooper Automotive workshops are open from 8.00am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday. Early drop off and late pick up can be organised at the time you make your booking.
